About Me
What is there to say about me? There really is a lot when you think about it, but the most important thing is that I’ve always loved writing, and writing has always come to me in different ways. It is one of the things that has grown with me since starting my own “magazine” in a spiral notebook that passed as my journal in fifth grade and evolved from there. I’m in my mid-30’s, married, have two kids, have played video games since I was five, been at the same company for the last 17 years, seen thousands of movies in my lifetime, been overweight, been to the gym a lot, lost my mother to Lupus when I was 32 (and she never saw 60) and now, two college degrees later, I take classes just for the hell of it.
The one thing that holds all that in common is writing, and writing about every one of those topics, and sometimes multiple ones at any given time. Why? Because I love writing, and writing loves me. The written word has been an outlet. It has helped me through tough time, and as one of my favorite teachers, and friends once told me, we all have a Story You Need to Tell and writing has been that story for me.
