A lot can be said about the 2004 Punisher adaptation starting Thomas Jane and John Travolta with an awful haircut. The movie is a guilt pleasure for its revenge story that allows the good guy to basically be the not-so-good guy after his entire family was killed by Saint’s goons. The film is better than the laughable first attempt, and better than the unwatchable Punisher: War Zone that was inexplicably green lit. After all that, Jane has returned to the role of Frank Castle and the Punisher, albeit in an unlicensed fan film put together with little to no budget and in their spare time. What happens next is 10 minutes of hard-R bliss that could take place directly after we leave Castle on that bridge at the end of the film (sans the stupid trench coat).
Have a look.
